Ack! I haven't updated in awhile. My apologies. I'm waiting for some news and right now things are status quo.
We are getting Dad's house ready to put on the market. So now I'm making frequent trips to Pinehurst for that. I don't mind it, in fact I enjoy it. What I don't enjoy is that the rest of life doesn't come to a screeching halt while I work on readying the house. So it's piecemeal at best.
I'm happy to bring Dad with me for a visit next time I'm coming, which is Wednesday. Let me know if you are able to meet for coffee or a small bite. I must warn you, Dad has gotten very thin and does not have much appetite. His hair is growing back though so he looks healthier in that respect.
My hair on the other hand is a source of angst. I'm afraid people will think I'm suffering from the presidents' syndrome. You know how our presidents age terribly from beginning to end of term? Well, I've decided to let my natural hair color grow out and, well, I'm full gray in the front. People may mistakenly assume it's from taking in my father, and maybe I'll let them think that!!!
Keep Herbie in your thoughts and prayers.
